The Colorado Department of Education has been making efforts to improve the preparation of educators to effectively work with bilingual students, by requiring IHEs to include the Early Language Learner Preparation Standards in their teacher preparation programs. The Teaching Young Bilingual Children certificate will include these standards with a focus on the teaching and learning of young bilingual children.
Program Delivery
