The Education and Learning Sciences track in the Education and Human Development BA provides opportunities for students to explore education and learning in contexts outside of teaching in schools. The program is designed to provide students with knowledge in current theories of learning, mind, brain, learning connections, theories of motivation, and designing strong learning environments. Students also complete multiple experiences in the field to support connections between practice and theory. This 120-credit hour track is ideal for students who are interested in education in roles outside of teaching including outdoor education and informal learning environments, museum leaning, international teaching and non-profits to name a few.
