Note
- All RISK majors are required to complete RISK 3949 Experiential Learning in RMI Industry (internship) to fulfill BGEN Experiential Learning. The RMI Program will assist you in securing this internship.
- A student can also continue their education with an MS in Finance and Risk Management with a specialization in Risk Management and Insurance. The RMI 4+1 program allows students to potentially complete both the BS and MS degrees in as little as five years by substituting two graduate courses for two undergraduate courses. The graduate courses count towards both the BS and MS degrees. The RMI 4+1 program also waives the GMAT exam for students meeting certain requirements. Students must apply as undergraduates and be accepted into the RMI 4+1 before taking graduate courses.
- If you are considering this 4+1 program, contact your advisor immediately so that you can appropriately plan your coursework. Email: undergrad.advising@ucdenver.edu
- Each Fall and Spring semester, students have the option to apply for an RMI scholarship when they are enrolled in at least one 3-credit RISK course, excluding RISK 3949 (one scholarship per semester). About $50,000 in RMI Scholarships are awarded each year. Apply for RMI Scholarships here.
