The Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence program prepares students with the practical and analytical skillsets required to harness AI technologies for business innovation and competitive advantage. We help students build an adaptable knowledge base for continued career advancement by developing expertise in data analytics, AI applications, and ethical AI implementation. Upon completion of our program, students will be able to strengthen organizational decision-making by leveraging AI tools, implementing data-driven solutions, and fostering a culture of technological innovation while maintaining ethical considerations.

Business intelligence and artificial intelligence are now fundamental to organizational competitiveness and innovation, and a thorough understanding of data analytics and AI technologies in business and in the national and global economy is essential for every business professional. The Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence major focuses on the effective deployment of data analytics tools and AI technologies in business. You will be equipped with analytical and statistical thinking applicable to all areas of business and a strong foundation for continued career growth in rapidly expanding professions. You will develop the technical skills in Python programming and data management, business acumen in translating data to insights, and strategic insights required for the assessment, implementation, and management of data analytics and AI resources and services, including the development, operation, and evolution of analytical infrastructure for use across all business functions including finance, marketing, operations, and strategic planning.

Not all Business Analytics and Information Systems courses are offered every semester - so please make sure to contact advising to plan ahead.
Students also have the opportunity to continue their education with an MS in Business Analytics or a MS in Information Systems . The BANA/ISMG 4+1 program allows students to potentially complete the BS and MS degrees in as little as five years through substituting two graduate courses for two undergraduate courses. The graduate courses count towards both the BS and MS degrees.
