4+1, Accelerated, and Pathway Programs
CU Denver offers 4+1 tracks in a variety of programs that allow students to take graduate level credits as a bachelor’s degree-seeking student that they can use towards their bachelor’s degree and towards a master’s degree in that 4+1 track. This allows a student to complete a bachelor’s and master’s degree in an accelerated timeframe. Eligibility requirements to enroll in a 4+1 track, along with requirements of how many graduate courses can be taken as an undergraduate student and the specific graduate courses, will vary by each school/college.
All students interested in following a 4+1 accelerated degree program need to meet with their Financial Aid advisor to determine the maximum number of credit hours that will be supported during the undergraduate degree. Courses that do not apply to the undergraduate degree may not be supported with undergraduate financial aid funds.
Below are the current bachelor’s and master’s degrees that offer at 4+1 track. For those with requirements listed in the catalog, a link to that specific page is available. For those with requirements not listed in the catalog, students should contact their individual school/college for more information.
