Introduction
Develop powerful math learning environments and curriculum to support pre-K through 12th grade students. Cherry Creek School District and University of Colorado Denver’s new graduate certificate in Mathematics Learning and Teaching is designed for general and special education teachers. It provides teachers with an opportunity to grow their knowledge of how people construct math knowledge from birth through high school.
Each course is organized to include teachers at all Pre-K-12 school grade levels, including general and special education teachers. Each stand-alone course is worth 3 graduate-level semester credits and may be applied towards the certificate or a master’s degree in the School of Education & Human Development at the University of Colorado Denver.
