Introduction

Join a practical certificate program for beginning researchers and all professionals who desire to make use of qualitative data. CU Denver’s fully online Qualitative Methods and Analysis certificate will develop your abilities to collect and analyze words, images, and observations to gain a deeper understanding of phenomena. Students will:

• Gain expertise in collecting qualitative data, designing research studies, analyzing using multiple qualitative techniques, interpreting findings, and drawing conclusions
• Work with real data in applied environments with applications in education, policy, counseling, and psychology fields
• Develop deep critical thinking skills and the ability to combine qualitative learning and understandings of human behavior
• Discover how to address bias and equity concerns in data collection and report data with care, and
• Learn to write for publication and how to communicate results to practitioners, the direct users of these scales.

• This is a fully online program with some classes having synchronous Zoom class meetings.
