To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

A total of 15 semester hours is required for an ethics minor.
For those students who major in philosophy, no course can satisfy the requirements for both programs. For example, if a student takes PHIL 4150, Twentieth Century Ethics, it can only satisfy the requirement for one program offered in Philosophy.
All courses taken at CU Denver must have a C or higher and all transfer courses must have a C- or higher.
Courses taken at other institutions must either be transferred as direct equivalent to a CU Denver course or be approved by an advisor in the Philosophy Department for application towards the minor.
A total of 6 credit hours must be at the 3000-level or above. At least 9 credits must be in residency.
